After 3 night on Phi Phi we took the ferry to Ao Nang. The reason we went to Ao Nang was to do the "4 island trip" and to kayaking in the mangroove forest and to see alot of monkeys. The day after we arrived we went on the kayaking trip so we bought 6 bananas for the monkeys and jumped on the car. After 10 min in the water we saw our first monkey and that little fucker jump in the water, swimmed out to our kayak, jump in and grabbed the bag with all of our bananas and swimmed back to the tree, so now we were out of bananas and this was just the first monkey. We continued paddle for about one hour and after that it was time for lunch. When we were finished with the lunch we went out again, but in the other direction and now we saw like 40-50 monkeys and our guide had alot o pinaple so even if we were out of bananas we could still feed the monkeys. When we were finished for the day we went swimming in a small freshwater lake and it was alot cooler than the ocean but so refreshing.
The 4 island trip is a trip to nearby islands with caves, beaches and snorkeling. This is a great trip and you only pay 400 baht for a hole day includes water, fruits, lunch and snorkeling gear. They also pick you up at your hotel and drop you off.
