Car between Singburi and Samut Songkhram (200km) because of strained back and heavy traffic.
Car north of Chumpon to Chumpon (40km) because of roadwork.
Bus from Ranong to north Phuket (250km) because of rashes from the heat had gone to far so I couldn´t skate for 45 days.
Boat from Phuket to Ao Nang because of 45 days of rest.
Car between Ao Nang and Lunas because of 45 days of rest.
Car between Bersia and Jeli (120km) because of massive mountain with only one place to stay and this part had taken us 3-4 days. Wild elephants, tigers, heavy rain and mosquitos.
Distance of skating when complete:
Thailand - around 1100km
Malaysia - around 900km (390km left)
Total - 2000km
This is according to our own counting from the roadsigns and with skating outside the regular route that don´t show on the map. Because you can´t always trust googlemaps. This is just one example of some: according to googlemaps we had around 50km to skate, but according to the signs on the road the total distance for that day was 80km.
